BritishSexContacts.com purports to be the largest UK specific dating site on the internet, and its unusual method of payment means that the site can be used just as you want. Once you set up an account with BritishSexContacts, you simply top up the account with “credits” which can be used to contact other members through internal email, view detailed profiles, use instant messaging - in short, all of the more advanced features of the site are based around the credits system. You can view profiles without having topped up and generally surf around the site, so we found that this site offers you more than most out of free membership. Credits cost around $1 each with each message you send and each detailed profile you view, costing you a credit. This allows you control over how much you use the site, though we do question how much this would cost if you use the site regularly.

With almost 350,000 members, the site provides a more than adequate search feature. Users have the opportunity to search by gender, location, looking for, age etc, and also some advanced features, such as hair and eye features, smoking, drinking etc, so that you can be sure your search returns the best results. When you find someone you’re interested in, you can contact them through “winks”, email or instant messaging, and even if you don’t, your credits are also valid for the content featured in the XTRA section - videos and photos from the member's area.
