Adult Hook Up is a website for anybody who’d like to meet attractive singles and couples online, with the hope of hooking up. The site claims to have over 60 million members, with thousands online at any given time. They provide instant messaging and web cam chat options, plus the ability to upload private photos, request meet ups and more.

The site claims to have over 60 million members, which is a really impressive number. We were happy with the number of search results we acquired from a basic search in our area, suggesting that there were a lot of profiles linked to the locations we tested out. 

Profile pages vary in detail, depending on who created them and how much effort they put into their account. You can find out the physical attributes of a member, what they enjoy, who they’re matched to, their zodiac sign, their online history and more, helping you to build a picture of what they might be like. 

All members can upload photos, including nudes. Free members can only really view the profile picture for each member, but if you upgrade then you can view others and request access to restricted photos, which can be pretty steamy.

Aside from photos, AdultHookUp has a few video options, including live webcam chat for VIP members. VIP's can also check out unlimited photos and videos, and upgrading is necessary if you wish to chat using the instant messenger service or email options.

The site offers a free full trial of its services, though you ought to keep in mind that this will automatically upgrade to a full paid membership after a short period. There are no package deals, rather a flat monthly rate, which keeps things relatively simple.

You can keep up to date with site activity and perform searches as a free member, as well as viewing basic profiles, but you can do little else. This is a shame, because the site keeps promising great membership numbers and exciting features but you can’t get a sense of them without upgrading your account. It’s also unclear how many of the members are using the site regularly and how many pay for their account.

Although Adult Hook Up shows promise with high membership numbers and some theoretically decent features, its system just doesn’t offer quite enough to convince us that it’s superior to many of its peers. There are, however, many attractive profiles, plus a free trial period to explore if you’re keen on testing your chances.
