Great site - Administrators are VERY Inflexible

So we've had a fair amount of success connecting with people on this site. We like how easy it is to find profiles that match and to peruse user profiles. The Administrators of this site are INCREDIBLY inflexible. No posting where you will be which we find COMPLETELY redundant and frustrating. If their 'Hot Date' tool was user friendly it would be one thing - but its not. We like to see where people will be and usually we go to their profile to find that information. The administrators of this site are NOT HAVING IT! They will inactivate your profile if you place that type of information ANYWHERE on your profile. Since that information is difficult to get to - coordinating dates while you are anywhere but home is complicated and not worth the hassle. We could recommend this site if their staff would 'lighten up' they are VERY un-lifestyle like in their approach to managing the site. Our recommendation is that you pass on this site and try Kasidie or SDC or one of the other sites recommended here - they are MUCH more user friendly and have attitudes more consistent with this LS. Good luck - YMMV In summary, I would not recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.

Just read through the list of previous reviews and I feel some clarification is needed on many points. First off we are a couple, been on SL since 2013 and we host lifestyle parties once per month for up to 120 guests. So, we know a little about how the SL site works and why so many do not like it. Especially the single men. The site is primitive at best. But it is usable. They limit the use of the site to free members and that is a good thing for the regulars for if you can't afford a few dollars per month for a membership you certainly won't be able to afford the swing lifestyle. Or, perhaps you don't have a CC to use that your spouse does not know about. Now, the single men; lot to say there. The main point is that most of them shoot themselves in the head and stand no chance of meeting a couple or a single lady. As I said, we host parties for up to 120 guests, about fifty couples and about ten single ladies and ten single men, give or take one or two once per month. And each... If you are a nice single guy just looking to play with folks, this is NOT the site for you. These "clicks" of swingers are very judgemental and clickish if you do not have a partner. You are very limited in the groups you can participate in. They will not allow you to attend parties. They do not allow you into their online groups. I was lucky enough to meet two couples that did allow singles and I did have some fun, but for the majority of activities a single guy is VERY limited. In summary, I would not recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.

I have been a member since 2010 and feel I have definitely gotten my $150 lifetime membership's worth. Yes it is old, slow, and clunky. Yes, no matter where you go there are single guys who thought Ashley Madison was a real thing, people who have signed up and never returned, people who email and then don't show up. That's not just here. That's life. What I like though is that there are a lot of active couples on there. Most have good profiles and the tools are there to avoid the flakes. Look how long it has been since they've been online. Look for their certifications and weed out the free profiles and you'll be fine. I especially like the directories of local clubs and party groups. See who is attending and reach out in advance. Many NY Metro groups to choose from. Intimate Parties Group, Deviate, etc all have a presence here. Check out the forums for Key West Fantasy Fest or Mardi Gras. Sign up for a lifestyle cruise or trip to Hedonism. SwingLifestyle helps you dip your toes in the water and keeps you connected. In summary, I would recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.

Couples, Females, Groups, not Great for single males

The site is awesome in specific geographical areas, membership for a lifetime can not be out done anywhere. There is low flake count, but single straight males will find the usual degree of difficulty finding hook ups. This should be the number one site for couples, swingers, females, bisexual, alternative types, and groups. In summary, I would recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.

Don't use them. Swing Lifestyle is an antiquated system. Pictures are hard to see, the profile arrangement is junk, there is no up-to-the-moment updates and they READ YOUR PRIVATE MESSAGES and if they read something they do not like, they will "off-line" your profile. Fellow swingers, please use another website. There are other far superior sites to choose from. My absolute favorite is kasidie.com and SwingTowns.com. Both are excellent. Kasidie is very similar to Facebook with instant updates and contacts. It makes Swing Lifestyle look like something from the stone age. The bottom line here is, if you are serious about meeting swingers, do you want to spend your money on a caveman site that snoops in your mail or a site that offers maximum results for your buck? Being an active swinger, I have met the Swing Lifestyle owners and I personally do not like their arrogance but that is only my opinion however it does shine light on the type of management we are reviewing. I have been a member for years, I am a lifetime member! This is my go to sight for swinging! I have met many people and had loads of fun! Come see what you are missing! A free membership is available and is usable, but I do recommend a paid membership! In summary, I would recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.

I've been a "Free" member for a few weeks now, and have been considering a paid subscription....mainly because I haven't found anything better for the "swing" lifestyle. Of the options offered, I have to say that "groups" are a complete waste of time - no matter what area of the country you search in, you will find almost all groups haven't had any NEW POSTS in 5 or 6 YEARS! A small handful will show a newest post date of about a year ago. Who the heck does THAT help??? Things they need to do to really improve the initial/early experience that would drastically increase the number of folks becoming paid members are: 1) Let FREE account search fully - limiting them to 50 results does NOT encourage, it just frustrates. Unlimited searches DOES NOT mean unlimited messages, emails, IM's and such, and being able to see SO MANY would entice FREE members to (A) Believe that the site is loaded enough to be worthwhile, and (B) GREATLY ENTICE them with all the folks they'd be able to contact! There is a reason that you've never seen a Candy Store with only one Butterfinger in the window!! 2) Double the number of emails/messages/etc... This is the best swinging site I know of. I have tried six plus a regional adult dating message board. I still belong to two other sites but will not renew at least one of these. First the bad: If you are tech savvy and really looking for a slick website, don't go to SLS. It will drive you nuts. Second, their messenger is really clunky and if you suggest to someone that you want to meet on another messenger service they will suspend your account for violating their TOS. Third, they are indeed a bit capricious in disciplining people for transgressions. Though normally they suspend people (what we SLS folks call being sent to purgatory) for violations. Fourth, I have heard enough complaints about technical glitches with accounts that I think the reviews here about those issues might be credible. However, I suspect most account deletions are for cause. Either commercial behavior or illegal behavior. So why the stellar review? Simply stated, I am on adult dating sites to meet nice people and have sex with them. SLS fits that bill better than any other site I have found. Sure,... The only real good feature about this site is their chat rooms. SLS search engines are horrible at best. you cannot go beyond page 1 using the search criteria requested. Members cannot search profiles on race. Since we prefer interracial couples that is essential to us. For chat rooms, SLS says you can make legal chat rooms, but will not tell you what is illegal. Their help only said specifically children was illegal. When asked what else was illegal we were told to consult a lawyer. And, they delete profiles or restrict your profile with zero opportunity for appeal. The owners of SLS are VERY dictatorial!!!!!! In summary, I would not recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.
