Just read through the list of previous reviews and I feel some clarification is needed on many points. First off we are a couple, been on SL since 2013 and we host lifestyle parties once per month for up to 120 guests. So, we know a little about how the SL site works and why so many do not like it. Especially the single men.
The site is primitive at best. But it is usable. They limit the use of the site to free members and that is a good thing for the regulars for if you can't afford a few dollars per month for a membership you certainly won't be able to afford the swing lifestyle. Or, perhaps you don't have a CC to use that your spouse does not know about.
Now, the single men; lot to say there. The main point is that most of them shoot themselves in the head and stand no chance of meeting a couple or a single lady. As I said, we host parties for up to 120 guests, about fifty couples and about ten single ladies and ten single men, give or take one or two once per month. And each month we get about 100 requests from single men to attend the party. We are lucky to get 10 out of 100 that meet the minimum requirements in order to invite them. Most of them do not have any pictures, they email or IM back and forth with one to three word replies, If you ask for a picture they send you a picture of their tool, and they often do not request to attend the event till the day of the event or the day before when it is too late. Then they repeat the same mistakes the following month.
Then if you do invite ten single men to a party for 120 at least half of them do not show up nor do they cancel. I guess their wife's girls night out got canceled and they can't make it. I don't know. Of the ones that do show up at least half of them have no communication skills and these parties are huge on communication. Most couples want to know a bit about you before you get to drill the wife. And good communication skills do not include bitching about your ex wife to everyone and how she was screwing around on you for 16 years! That is a third rail subject at swingers parties! And they don't want to know about how your rehab went or the degree you got from Yale. They are there to have a good time and you are either part of that good time or a speed bump on the freeway.
If your trying to meet someone at a café forget it. Most meets are a waste of time, especially head to head. The best place to meet others is at a private house party, period. You get to meet a lot of people, if one couple is not your choice you move on to the next couple. We have singles and couples contact us on SL asking us to meet them at the Lowes parking lot at 3PM! They are passing through our area and want to hook up for fun. And we always tell them, sure, see you there and then block them. Sorry, we do not do stupid.
This site has a lot of short comings, so do all the rest. You are going to get out of it and the other sites what you put into them. We know over 500 couples and over a hundred single men and ladies. Do we play with them all? No. But we play with the ones we want to, the ones that also want to play with us. And the single men that do know how to relate to the couples at our parties leave the party exhausted from playing with as many women as they can handle.
In summary, I would recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.
