C-date is an adult dating site for professionals. Its clients are mainly in the US, and it offers them automated date matching services, helping them to find like-minded sexual individuals and couples who are looking for no-strings fun online and offline.
The site is easy to join, with an interactive questionnaire. From there, you can upload multiple photos to show off your best sides. Free members can explore the site and find out which members the site recommends. This will give you some idea of how many local members there are.
The site is relatively basic, with email-style communication tools. You can opt to receive notifications when you receive new messages, as well as being able to add members to your list of contacts. This makes them easier to find at a later date if you wish to message them or view their photos again.
Profile pages are quite sparse, with basic information on a person’s profession, relationship status, body and more. You can also express your sexual interests in a hope to find another member (or members) who share your fantasies.
Free membership is available, but offers very limited access to the site’s full roster of features. If you want to view profile information or photos, for example, you have to upgrade your account. This is quite unusual for a dating site, because it means you won’t be able to find any real information about its members until you pay the subscription fee. This might be an approach to dissuade time wasters, drawing in professionals who can afford to pay, but these limitations also make it more difficult to find out whether there’s a date for you, before paying up.
C-date prices are low in comparison with many of its peers. However, you must upgrade for a minimum of three months and features are limited. The site claims that over 25,000 people join its ranks each day, yet our profile (which had been active, albeit not complete for many months) had received no views. This is somewhat disturbing but may also be a sign that C-Date.com doesn’t simply send out fake messages to members, potentially meaning that any correspondence you receive is genuine.
Everything considered, C-Date claims to have decent membership numbers and we were inclined to think that the company doesn’t try to worm money out of its members. The site really lacks some basic features such as instant messaging or cam chat, but if you’re more interested in the members rather than the features, it could be worth checking out.
