WeWantFun.co.uk is a dating and swinging site devoted solely to
users in the UK. It’s great to see sites that are purely for UK users, as, outside the US, the UK is one of the largest markets for dating sites generally. The difficulty arises, as with this site, that occasionally sites devoted only to UK users are particularly small, and thus do not offer the same quality of service or range of features that larger sites do. Of course, the biggest difficulty with such sites is that the fewer members a site has, the less likely a user is to get lucky, as internet dating is arguably a numbers game. WeWantFun.co.uk is certainly a site that suffers from this particular problem – with only 75,000 users, it is a million miles away from the size (in terms of members) of other sites (AdultFriendFinder, for example has almost 24Million members).
That issue aside, new members to WeWantFun will be greeted with a fun and exciting welcome page which really advertises the whole ‘point’ of internet dating for these guys – it’s all about fun, in a variety of forms, with loads of interesting people. Creating a profile on WeWantFun.co.uk is pretty simple too, requiring only a few short questions and a couple of text boxes to enter more detailed information. You will, as with all dating sites, get a better response if you take the time to fill out all the profile sections (and this is especially advised with WeWantFun, as its member base is so much smaller than that of other sites). As well as the usual options, such as mail and photo profiles, users can also view video profiles, use video instant messaging and view webcams. These features are great, especially considering how small the site is when compared to others, though they are of course not unique, and many of them are considered as standard in the online dating industry at the present time.
We’re not sure that it’s possible to call WeWantFun.co.uk the “Ultimate Online Dating Community”, as the features, membership and cost simply do not reflect such a label. There are a few good features on the site, though these are not unique and appear on quite a few other sites, and often for a lot less in terms of subscription. There are other good UK dating sites out there (see our other reviews), and of course, there is always the opportunity to use a larger, multinational, dating site (such as AdultFriendFinder) to really maximize your chances of meeting up with someone amazing!
