Editor's Verdict:

NaughtyCanoodle is a site devoted to dating in the UK only, and with more than 1 million members, the chances of finding the perfect match in the UK with NaughtyCanoodle are pretty good. A lot of the worldwide sites are dominated by US members, and as a result, it's useful for UK users to have a dedicated site such as this. Members can search by region and of course, contact other members to arrange real life hook-ups, and potentially a long term relationship could result.

While its UK only audience is a great opportunity for UK users, the site has only limited features with which to contact members and its search facilities are somewhat lacking when compared with other sites. Basic users can only search by a limited number of search fields - by age, location and  region - and even fully upgraded members are limited to only three additional fields - religion, smoking habits and whether or not a user has children. There are fewer search capabilities available here than on other sites, and this is a little disappointing. In terms of contacting members, users are limited to only sending messages and winks, and, unusually, the site does not offer an instant messaging facility. Again, this limitation is one that places NaughtyCanoodle behind other similar sites.

The site does offer the diary feature, which is an interesting and exciting idea which making the site feel all the more personal. Users can update their diaries and publish them online with their profiles for other users to view and leave comments. This means a user can get more of a feel of other users by viewing their diaries, and also, users have more of an incentive to log on regularly to see the goings-on in the lives of other members. There is certainly a greater chance of making the perfect match if users get more of an impression of what another member is really like, instead of a few generic profile statements. Of course, as with many sites, you can still send 'winks'' to other users, and if you like, also send virtual gifts.

NaughtyCanoodle.com could be a great option if you live in the UK. Unfortunately, the limited prospects for communication with other members and the extremely limited search options mean that, despite its UK only base, and considering its fairly expensive membership costs, UK members may still be better off using one of the larger worldwide sites which arguably offer greater value for money.
