HornyMeets is an interesting find. The site offers
users the opportunity to use a wide variety of features to communicate
with a number of members from around the world. Although we were not
able to find out the exact number of members that are active on the
site, there were more then 12,000 members online at a particular point
during our review (around midnight) and the site advertised that more
then 3,000 new members had joined the site in the last 24 hours. These
figures suggest that the site has an active worldwide membership that
will no doubt throw up lots of opportunities to hook-up with someone
new.
HornyMeets is without a doubt one of the most
simple and visually pleasing to navigate out of all of the sites that
we have reviewed in this section. The summaries of users' profiles that
are displayed in search results illustrate at a glance the basic
information about a particular member. The profile summaries also
include the information generated by the "SuperMatch" software, which
works by comparing your user information (location, interests, sexual
preferences etc) with those of each user and generating a percentage
"match". While a potential hook-up won't always be defined by a
percentage figure, it can be a great indication as to how well matched
you might be. It's also the perfect way to start up a conversation with
another user, because the software gives you fairly detailed
information on the user's preferences.
The site offers a number of ways to
communicate with other members. Users can email and chat with other
users, as well as send them online e-cards to let them know they're are
interested. Users can also send anonymous SMS messages to another
member's cellphone, and make cheap calls to another user through the "call center". All of these communication methods depend, of course, on
the privacy settings on an individual user's account - and these work
excellently to allow members to control the access of other users to
your profile. Members can also leave a video or audio message to give
other users a little more information about yourself, or to encourage
them to get in touch. While the site is obviously full of excellent
features and has a large, active membership, it can get costly,
although it is the only site we have reviewed so far to include "life
membership"! While the site may not be as good value as some of our
other sites, that rate higher in our review, it may still worth a try,
especially if you're looking for a site that is very easy to navigate and use.
