Well, right off the bat we're impressed with the nice technology and artistic design of Fast-Contact.com. It's got a warmth to it that we find refreshing. They have third party mainstream dating advertisers here to help pay the bills at this site is 100% FREE. Let's see what else is in store for us here.

One of the great benefits that are available on truly free dating sites is the level playing field that exists. With every member having access to all the features, it makes for a communal setting that is hard to duplicate at sites where different levels of membership and access exist. While a free site can be good in some respects, it isn't always the best recipe for all members, especially those that desire technology-driven features (that require investment), like chat rooms or an on-site instant messenger. We're big proponents of instant messengers with video capability as they directly address the discovery process so efficiently. You can determine pretty much from the outset if there's any mutual chemistry to speak of when you've had a conversation or two with video.

The driving force of any dating site is the search for suitable members. At Fast-Contact.com. we find a very limited search engine. Even though it's a free site and we have use of all the functionality, the search parameters available are lacking in definition. Our search area couldn't be confined to a given area. We were forced to accept listings from all around the UK. Our immediate thoughts center on the proposition that this site lacks sufficient membership to support searches that specify a given locale. So we put on our Sherlock Holmes outfit and set about to find some answers.

What we were able to deduce from our tweaking of the search engine is that the site does indeed have a very limited membership. Even a search focusing on London turned up very little. Here's how it played out by the numbers. Searching for ladies in a 30-45 age range we came back with 48 listings, of which, 25 had photos. In checking the listings, there were nine who's stated residence was London. That's not going to cut it very well for adult dating (or any kind of dating really). So, with some evidence gathered, we now feel confident to make our final judgement.

While finding one's ideal match isn't strictly a numbers game, having the numbers on your side is always a desirable advantage. Fast-Contact.com may have the attraction of being 100% free, but this is undermined by the fact that it features only an e-mail system and has too few members in its database to give you realistic dating options. We hesitate to bash it, but we can't in good conscience recommend it - except as a lark for the serendipitous among us. Fast-Contact is a bit like fast food: tempting on account of the low costs, but not very good for you in the end.
