I was on this site for 30 days as a VIP. Sure there were dozens of chat requests and mail being sent...but what I found was the mail that was being sent to me from profiles that said were in my area was in actual fact, computer generated with stolen pictures and fake profiles. To those who actually wanted to chat with me, all said they lived in the states, the UK, Europe, Canada...but all were giving fake excuses as to the reason they were all in Ghana. They all wanted a long term sexual relationship and marriage. They all also wanted me to pay for their passports, their visa and the plane tickets to come here. Before they mention this they try to get you to give them all your info while they give nothing in return and then say they love you and want to be with me.... then they plead their case for you to send them money. They will not listen to you if I say I would buy the ticket here and have it waiting for them at their airport, because they all want you to send them cash...then never hear from them again.
Then there are also the ones who wants all of your credit card info with the fake verification excuse just to watch them on a cam, which I was never on the site to do, or they are mysteriously in my city and need this verification just to see them. Boy they sure disappear fast when you suggest that both of us go to the cop station for both of us to get checked out if they want this verification.
So stay away from this IwantU, which is the same as the ihookup, flirt.com, benaughty.com, and others like these as they have the same server company with different alias.
In summary, I would not recommend IWantU to a friend.
