I've been using AMM for many many years and it's suited my busy lifestyle very well.
I have met upwards of 80 people and have had some amazing experiences and created some strong ongoing friendships (and more :) with these people.
I have mainly played with members between 25-40, of which there are many (both male and female) and I've had many experiences with both genders, couples and groups.
I have never come across a fake male profile.
And yes, there are some abusive members out there who don't take rejection well - but they are everywhere in life, and online and not unique to AMM - just ignore/block them.
There are also some women that are time wasters and are online just to flirt [not meet] and pretend to be someone they are not - again, they are everywhere in life, and online and not unique to AMM.
I struggle to understand how everyone blames the site for being a waste of time when I know 100's of men that have a great time on this site and meet multiple women per week. If you don't put in the time to build a creative and interesting profile, upload some decent pictures and message the prospective member with something interesting, you will not get a response.
As a female, we get 50-100 messages a day, and can't respond to them all. So naturally we choose to respond to those who have:
1: photos
2: interesting profile
3: have taken the time to write an interesting message. (not just "hello, hot profile").
In summary, I would recommend Adult MatchMaker Australia to a friend.
