I have used other sites with far more honest results and some success so can make an honest comparison. A new member to this site will see plenty of activity in the form of winks, favourites, and a few messages, but they all come from women who have not even viewed your profile - very odd, how do they do that as you have to visit a profile to send a personal message. If you then send a message to someone who has messaged, winked or hot listed you get an auto reply saying that the member has set their filters so as not to receive your message. When you look at the profiles of those who have noted you, they are always blank, no photo, blurb or details - again very odd.
As an experiment I set up a fake woman's profile, the site is free for women. I pitched her as 49, (so she's really about 55 LOL) gave a short description and put on a photo of a plain average woman. Within the first 24 hours I had over 500 messages mostly from decent ordinary men all of whom had been conned into paying a fee, I leave you to calculate from that just how much money this site is making for it's owners.
In summary, I would not recommend Sex In The UK to a friend.
