My sex in the uk background is that in the first two months I met up with three ladies two of who I still see 9 months on. But since then i have noticed a number of problems with the site.
The first thing you notice of this site is that the chat function doesn't work very well. I have cut and pasted with people i have been chatting with and we have found out that things we typed to each other haven't appeared. So even though you are there chatting to each other, you dont know it and both of you think the other person has dissappeared for a coffee (or boredom). This makes you paranoid and wondering if your non reply is really someone trying to reply... but the chat is not sending it... or that they arnt receiving your message and they think that you have hopped it.
Secondly the whole site is overun with nude pic profiles who never reply except occasionally to ask for you credit card details to 'prove who you are'. Obviously fraudulent infiltrators are a problem on these sites in general but this site has a plague of them. For four months early in 2009, in my whole northeast region...80% of the 'members' online came from two towns which between them hold 2% of the regions population. Each profile was identical and had profile names all with the same number of characters.
Thirdly. Most people I contact are free 'standard' members. but in the past week they have all become 'platinum' members: even a woman who says in her profile that she is only a standard mamber. All of which sounds suspicious.
Fourthly, the site advertises another site called benaughty.com . This is identical with exactly the same people on it. Both sites are run by Easydate Ltd. If you pay for this you will recive the same service you already have.
In summary, I would not recommend Sex In The UK to a friend.
