Site with some real, but many fakes

Bias: I'm a very seasoned internet dater, but have also done speed dating, newspapers, telephone classifieds, even a little bar hopping.
Pros: There are some real women here, and it's not too difficult to contact a real one. Contacting a real one who wants to meet face to face is very difficult, but not impossible. Meeting takes a lot of effort but not impossible. Some good resources for self satisfaction if that's what you want.
Cons: 12 months yielded 10 contacts, 4 offline phone or email, 2 real. Ended up seeing one for about 6 months. A lot of effort & time. Easier to contact women out of state/local area, so are ones playing games and not looking to meet are easier to find.
Analysis: Not a total scam, but not easy. Compared to other sites:
Ease of making contact = B
Easy to spot fakes = B
Ease of offsite contact = C-
Ease of real meeting = D
Value = D+
In summary, I would recommend Sex Search to a friend.

I used to belong to this site, twice in fact. And yes, I did have some luck. But there is so much of this fake model thing going on, I sort of doubt it is not the site's proprietors actually perpetrating it. My paid membership lapses and then the one to three a week emails from the young hotties starts up again. So then I went back to my paid membership, emailed them all back and didn't hear from them again. Furthermore, new young hotties stopped emailing me. After I let that month expire, lo and behold, they started emailing me again! All with very short, yet eager messages. Smells like a scam to me!
In summary, I would not recommend Sex Search to a friend.

I have signed up as a member of this site twice, about 2-3 years apart and my first time experience was sub-par simply due to the actually real-life encounter with someone from the site. While this does not represent the site per se, when i sent a few months on the site and only met one real life person in person, i have to say my success rate was not too great (i have had better luck with Craigslist). The site was well put together and it did seem to have a fair share of 'real' people on the site.
Now the second time i signed up (recently within the last few months) it was horrible. I would get more than 20 pop ups with a few hours from spammers tried to get me to watch their 'videos' (links to their websites) and had to report atleast 2-4 people who were sending my Nigeria spam. The website had went an overhaul which made it hard to navigator on my laptop (which is about middle of the line as in ability). Was a member of sexsearch for one year. I found that although the potential to be a great site, it sure didn't live up to expectations. More than half the time, Instand chat did not work right, many e mails didn't get through, and there was no way to contact someone in an e mail without them filtering out your contact info. The site had plenty of interesting people, but you had to search through everyone even those that had not visited the site for six months to find the active members. All in all, I think I'll stay with Adult friend finders at least I don't feel like I was ripped off there.
Like I said they sure have the potential to be a great site, but at the moment, they "SUCK"
In summary, I would not recommend Sex Search to a friend.
