Auto renewal is a con and too many spam women

Hi, I have been a member a few times but quite honestly dont waste your money when other main stream sites have more real women who want to hook up. The quality of the women has definitely gone downhill. Plus I found there were alot of con artists or spam profiles looking for money or that classic trying to lure you onto webcam to blackmail you. I guess the old saying something too good to be true..just isn't! The membership fee you can haggle down to at least £99 for 5 weeks Gold Plus. Overall a site that used to be good is no longer good value with less real women. Plus some women are slow to give their password to reveal their pictures. In summary, I would not recommend Illicit Encounters to a friend.

Very easy to join and pay Very easy to set up multiple profiles...if you are a women you can do this for nothing as many times as you like You can take a holiday break However, do carefully consider before paying exorbitant fees: 1. Women do not have to pay at all. No issue with this as a commercial model if that is what they want to pursue but: a) Women have multiple profiles; you may talk to the same person unknowingly under different names. b) Many women use the 'free' site where they are in league with their husband for three-somes (husband does not have to pay) c) Prostitutes...be prepared for prostitutes literally 'free-riding' on the free for women site d) Be prepared for women offering to video...a common occurrence for some reason 2. There is a chat area where views can be expressed on topics chosen by the editor. Sounds a great idea, until you are a man who expresses even a neutral view. It will not be posted. 3. Be wary of those targetting for 'pregnancy' blackmail. Much easier if you are the married man 3. Testimonies...great in theory; funny how there is not one single negative comment Having said all this, if you really... To be balanced the site claims to have about a 50 / 50 mix of men and ladies. Might be true, if adding up profiles, but most of the lady's profiles are so similar they are obviously made up. I - foolishly - paid to join, despite my suspicions. No replies, no dates. Like the main editorial says, even at "peak" times there are no more than a couple of hundred people on the site and if nearly all of the women are fake the chance of meeting a "real one" is nil, or nearly nil. One day trading standards will close it down. Hurrah. In summary, I would not recommend Illicit Encounters to a friend.

Disappointing

I read reviews of the site - including the ones on here, but other review sites as well, all suggested it might be "average" value for money, but once my profile was complete it began to attract quite a lot of lady's eyes so I paid the subscription and messaged all the women who had initially messaged me. Not one reply. Maybe they had all been snapped up, so I wrote some more letters - quite decent, a few paragraphs, but again almost nothing. I did start talking to one lady but then her profile disappeared very abruptly. Just on the last day some more messages appeared but I couldn't really afford to pay more money. However, after I left the site I was looking again and one day I found nearly the same profile in London and Cumbria but with different names and ages. Maybe some of the other reviews were right, but it seems you have to get in quickly, and women join in groups every month. So if you get your timing wrong maybe you just miss out. Maybe the positive for women is they are taken within hours of joining. In summary, I would not recommend Illicit Encounters to a friend.
