My wife and I opened a profile several years ago when the site was not as greedy as it is now. Back then even if you were a free member, you could still browse profiles. Then it changed to if you were a free member and someone wrote to you, you could see their profile and reply. Now if someone sends you a message, you can't even see their profile. Access for free members keeps getting more and more restricted.

Another scam is the "sign up for one year and get six months free. Their are conditions you must meet to get the six months free, but they still charge you for 18 months up from. And if you are not careful, you will automatically be charged for another year. Males-there is free porn everywhere, don't sign up.

Several others sites, like SLS and SDC have more features and are a lot cheaper.

This site is dangerous for women, particularly for single females. I had a lunch "meet and greet" with a member and then decided that I didn't want to meet again, and especially not for any intimate encounters with him. When I told him that I didn't want to meet, he started sending me harassing text messages that are unlike any that I have ever experienced or even heard about. I reported it to my local police department, and they are pursuing it as harassment. The deputy who read the texts on my phone agreed that the member is mentally/emotionally unstable. I immediately reported this to their so called customer service. The representative whom I spoke with was rude, dismissive, and nonchalant. He refused to let me speak to a supervisor and even stated that no managers or supervisors were working. Despite telling me that he was noting the member's account and escalating the issue, I was asked for the same information when I tried reporting it through their web site. This site is mostly a rip-off. If you sign up to be a standard member you get emails and flirts from hot girls, but you can't read the emails and you can't reply back to them unless you pay to become a full member. Once you are a full member, you realize that most of the messages you got were fake.

The messages suddenly stop after you register. The only time you're guaranteed to get more messages is if you edit your profile, shortly thereafter you will get some sort of message or flirt or something along those lines. This happens EVERY time you edit your profile. Then when you go back to see the message or check out the person's profile, the profile is usually deleted or disabled. It's a nice bot that the site has set up.

When you run a search the vast majority of results are standard members, who are either A) Fake, or B) Can't reply to your messages because they are a standard member. Adult Friend Finder is one of the oldest dating sites but suffers from all the same faults like all other "adult" relationship sites. Pricing is not clear, 3 months + 1 month free @ £15 per month = £35 but no it strangely = £59. Don't ask support for help because their reply is still very un-clear.

What you do get for your £59 is a variety of searches, webcams and profiles. The webcams are ok! The faults: many fake profiles, many dead profiles, and some 'working girl' profiles. Yes, of-course there will always be some genuine profiles.

But let's be honest about this; as a man you are on the site for sex! Twenty 'something' year old hot, sexy, horny girls can get sex any night of the week without the need of a website. They can pick and choose and after 800+ male responses any genuine girl is only going to pick the best. Only if you are very rich, or look like a male film throb would you have any chance of getting it on.

This used to be an excellent site, but over the past year, (with a buyout by a new company), it now barely rates one star. It is absolutely packed with bots, fake profiles, men pretending to be women, and women who refuse to do anything except blog because the male members are so offensive. (The blogs are great, by the way, if you only want to write and not meet anyone.)

The new company adopted an aggressive and highly offensive advertising policy, and made corresponding offensive site changes, that have led to most of the real women wanting to actually meet someone abandoning the site.

The site tone and advertising went from one of facilitating an open atmosphere for a range of possible encounters and relationships, to one portraying the female members as a bunch of free hookers. Over the past year they have gone from advertising to recruit new members a "guarantee" you will get laid in 3 months, to you will get laid in 30 days, to their current claim: Get Laid Now. With each change, more female members have left. Their male/female current ratio is far more than 10 to 1.

I have found that many of the people on this site are FOS. You may get a date, but the chance of someone showing up is slim; if they do show up you will find that thet greatly exaggerated on their profile. Customer service by e-mail is non-existant and by phone isn't much better. They want you to pay by credit card for instant access, in my case the first time I did a fraudulent charge showed up on my card. I paid by ACH an electronic check that clears your a/c in 1 day, but it takes AFf 7 to 14 days to give you access. They don't have a good reason for this. They do not accept debit cards, I don't know why. The men on here are like 10 to 1 over the women when it comes to watching cams. It is a most frustrating website loaded with sex addicts, liars, phoneys and prostitutes. If you join read the peoples blogs, ignore the flirts sent to you because most are auto generated and false. I would reccomend trying it once just for the absurdity of some of the people and for laughs.

Been on and off this site many times. Never a connection. A few nibbles back and those were scams for other sites. Many profiles are void of detail and folks don't even bother to invoke the auto reply feature. I suspect they rotate the pics from other sites to post as new members for enticing more pay members. Nice picture and discussion pages, but that's not what most of us are there for! Bottom line, better off going down to buy lotto tickets with your membership fees as you have a better chance of wining than getting laid off this site.

I have joined alot of adult dating sites. And not 1 of them is worth the money. I get at least 5 flirts a day from women on this website. Funny thing is the next day their profles have be deleted. Most of the women are fake, probably 98% of them. If you check out the webcams you will find that half of the decent looking women showing you their webcam are fake and ask you to send them money to join their website. You are allowed to report fake women on the website, however they never get deleted. The only good thing about this site is every now and then you might see a half desent looking couple playing on webcam. But usually not. The price is way to high to join and then if you want to talk to a standard member you have to pay more money for that. I have seen more women on here using fake photos from porn sites. The only good thing I can say about Adult Friend Finder is it's cheaper than other dating sites. I sent numerous emails to other members but my account details showed that I had sent none. The only members who tried to email me got kicked off the site, possibly because they tried to give me their email address. To make matters worse Adult Friend Finder blocked and deleted the emails so I didn't even get them. I always thought that what I was paying for was for the opertunity to meet people and not have it prevented by Adult Friend Finder. When I asked Adult Friend Finder about my concerns I got no reply what so ever. I will not be renewing my subscription. My suggestion...find another dating site.

As long as you keep your expectations realistic, then you won't be disappointed with AdultFriendFinder. It's a great place to meet casual sex partners, as long as you stay realistic.

You're not going to meet a supermodel babe on the site, and if you think you are, then you'll be disappointed. If you see a profile with supermodel pictures then it's almost certainly a fake, so don't waste your time; and even if she isn't a fake, you don't stand a chance since every other guy in your hometown will be emailing her!

Be realistic - focus on women whose pictures are taken in their bedrooms or living rooms (as opposed to having obviously been taken in a studio). Focus also on women who don't have pictures posted of themselves - as long as they were online within the last week. There are plenty of these women on the site, and most of them are genuine. If you focus your attention on these types of profiles and put in a little effort then you won't be disappointed.
