Let me ask you this: Would you spend 35 hard-earned dollars on a sex dating web site that, once you've paid the maximum membership price/month possible, was so riddled with annoying ads and sellups that you felt like you were a visitor to a scam web site? If your answer is yes or no, please read about my experience with being duped by the god-awful "Sex Search" site.
(1) Sex Search has Constant Flash Ads and Pop-ups: At almost every click pop ups--annoying ones that are not blocked by traditional pop-up blocking software--auto launch with zero user prompting. Again, this is with their GOLD membership of $35. Doing something as innocuous as saving personal settings immediately opens up a secondary window with some "cam chick" doing her thing (trying to get people to pay "gold" (money) for watching and talking to her. Furthermore, and again, without any clicking or prompting, you'll suddenly see one of those foul screen blocking ads that takes over your entire monitor window. There are no "X" to close buttons on it. You're screwed until you click on and get launched to yet another crappy site you never wanted to visit.
(2) Misleading links: They are EVERYWHERE on this site. You click on a link suggesting girls on web cams near you (not a banner add, but what looks like part of your home page) and you launch one of the plethora of crappy web cam sites out there. You do NOT receive any membership benefits at the cam site launched. It's just as if you clicked on a banner add.
(3) Veritable Mural of Ads Blanket Sex Search: From the top to bottom, this is the worst ad-covered site I have ever visited. There is everything from the porn films annoyingly playing (with sound) while you're browsing the site to banner ads to links to other sex/dating sites. I can totally understand having all this crap splashed all over your site if it's free; I am aware that webmasters need scratch too. But when you become a member at a ridiculously high price of 35/mo, you expect those ads and other crap to be disabled. Not so at Sex Search.
(4) Automatically Signed up for Vidoez Upon Membership Signup Completes: To top it all off, Sex Search is yet another of the many sites out there who just can't keep their greed from getting the better of them. Unless you have eagle eyes and go through the sign up process very thoroughly (which, come on, most of us don't do when were horny), you get a trial membership AUTO-BILLED to your CC, and if you don't call Epoch or whatever billing service was used and beg them to cancel the membership you were duped into accidentally purchasing, you'll get nailed for a full price subscription to a totally mediocre sex vid site. I requested a refund on Epoch's billing site via their chat service, and the membership services chat girl told me "too bad" and closed the chat window. Boy, did I feel screwed over!
The long and short on Sex Search? If you like getting overcharged, enjoy being assaulted by unwanted advertising, and appreciate it when you're tricked into signing up for and paying for membership to a crappy additional/unwanted sex video site, then by all means, hand Sex Search your hard-earned 35 bucks like I was foolish enough to do. If you don't like being made to feel like a disgruntled customer who just got ripped off, save your money for ANY of the other sex dating sites. Better yet, never join and call a hooker. Even if s/he is a hideous mound of smelly flesh, s/he'd be a masturbation improvement over wasting your money on Sex Search.
In summary, I would not recommend Sex Search to a friend.
