I've been a member of Adult FriendFinder for about 6 months now and I've had some success at meeting girls on this site. There are many negative reviews here, usually made by people who are complaining that they've (a) had no success, (b) that there are too many fake profiles, or (c) that as free members they can't do much of anything. I'd like to address these points one by one...
So you've had no success on the site?
Is that the fault of the site itself? Adult FriendFinder is a platform that allows men and women to get in touch using a variety of features like email, flirting, instant messaging, webcam chat, etc., and also puts people in touch with groups in their area for various fetishisms and sex parties. Nothing more. It does not guarantee you'll get laid. It is not an escort service! If you're crap at talking to women then maybe you write really awful introductory emails. Or maybe you're just butt-ugly. If so, then too bad. You'll probably die miserable and alone, whether you try and meet women in bars or online.
You think there are too many fake profiles?
Have you tried *other* adult dating sites? They bombard you with emails from fake female profiles until you upgrade so you can contact them, only to discover that they've all left the site or they have no interest in contacting you any longer! These are fake profiles. Adult FriendFinder doesn't do this. I've had hardly any spam emails from Adult FriendFinder. So what you see is normally what you get on this site. Sure there are a few fake profiles on there, but learn to spot the scammers and stop wasting your time on them. If the picture looks too good to be true then it probably is a fake. If you see a profile page with just one bikini clad supermodel picture, hardly any profile information, and she's initiated contact with you! Wake up, gentlemen, this is a fake. Move on.
You can't do much of anything as a free member.
This is true. So what. You expect Adult FriendFinder to let you contact members for free and then, what, just go out of business?! Remember this - the fact that you can't browse everyone's pics as a free member is a good thing. It means that free members can't browse your pics either. That means you get a lot more privacy on this site than you do on many others. Only serious, paid-up members can see your pics. and that's how it should be. If you're serious about getting laid, pay the money, and put in the effort. Otherwise, why bother?
If you put in the effort and be realistic about what you expect to get out of this site then you will get laid. There is someone for everyone, despite what I said above about dying miserable and alone. Maybe you will. But there's no reason you can't get laid in the meantime.
In summary, I would recommend Adult Friend Finder to a friend.
