This site is mostly a rip-off. If you sign up to be a standard member you get emails and flirts from hot girls, but you can't read the emails and you can't reply back to them unless you pay to become a full member. Once you are a full member, you realize that most of the messages you got were fake.
The messages suddenly stop after you register. The only time you're guaranteed to get more messages is if you edit your profile, shortly thereafter you will get some sort of message or flirt or something along those lines. This happens EVERY time you edit your profile. Then when you go back to see the message or check out the person's profile, the profile is usually deleted or disabled. It's a nice bot that the site has set up.
When you run a search the vast majority of results are standard members, who are either A) Fake, or B) Can't reply to your messages because they are a standard member. Standard members get a limited number of messages each day, so sometimes they'll ask you to email them at a yahoo or hotmail account or something. DO NOT do this. They are scams. Do not give out any personal information or anything. If you do decide to pursue this, I suggest meeting in a public place. Also, I'd suggest they send a verified photo e.g. a picture of them with a piece of paper saying something on it like, "Hello (insert your name)." You should do this for both keeping in contact with people on the website as well as if you decide to switch to personal email. They'll never send you a real pic. They'll send you other photos, but never one that you can actually use to verify that they are real. For all you know they could have stolen them from some random person's facebook.
Overall, there are very very few female members who actually pay to be on the site. Those that do, well they're usually either butt ass ugly or kinda old (very few are legit young and hot). The ones that are young and hot are usually married or have a bf or something and they're just looking for a third partner. A lot of girls are looking for other girls too. Basically, you either don't want them or you can't get them.
So do I suggest this site? No. Not at all. If you still want to try it then sign up for just a month. I learned all this in just a couple weeks, you'll see it too. But I got a year membership that I'm stuck with. Btw, they charge that all at once, not each month. Their "guarantees" to get you laid are all BS. I emailed them and said I've had no luck and that I wanted to cancel my membership and get a refund for the remaining months, but they never replied. Being completely honest, I'm an attractive young guy, I've gotten laid a LOT on free dating websites. So I suggest you try that before this. Plus those websites have no fake profiles that I've encountered (I've been on them for about a year now). You'd think the free ones would be fake and the ones you pay for would be more legit. I've been on AFF for about two months and I've only gotten 3 legit messages (but like 30 fake ones), one was from a gay dude, another was from a 50yr old woman, and the third was from actually a pretty hot chick, but she was married and I don't do that. So, up to you. I'd suggest the free websites though.
 In summary, I would not recommend Adult Friend Finder to a friend.
