Editor's Verdict:

With more than a million active members, complete with saucy profiles including sexy photos and loads of ways to get in touch with members you like, Find-Contacts is a pretty good bet if you're looking for a hook-up, relationship or just some online fun. The membership of the site seems particularly active- there were more than 5,000 users online and waiting to chat when we reviewed this site - and this was before peak time, at 8pm! A really excellent feature of the site is that users can join and create a profile for free, as well as search other users and view their profiles without any need to upgrade. This means, unusually, that you can really get a feel for the site and the number of members active in your area before you pay anything! In terms of value, Find-Contacts does well in our opinion!

The methods of communicating with other members are varied with Find-Contacts.com - users can email, flirt, use chatrooms and of course, maintain a network of friends and "more than friends". Members can also view a variety of explicit photographs featured on a members' gallery. While this is all great news, we are a little disappointed by the lack of instant messaging facility that is so common on many dating sites. Dating sites really benefit from this addition, and it's a shame we don't see it here. It's not all bad though - profiles are really easy and quick to create (just a short questionnaire and descriptive paragraph) and conducting an advanced search is simple and contains a number of useful fields.

A slight technical problem does plague the otherwise smooth interface - the page constantly reloads, around once every 20 seconds, regardless of what you're viewing. We don't know how widespread this problem is, but it certainly gets annoying after a while. Apart from this, we were pleased with the performance of Find-Contacts - the site has a substantial membership of individuals who are all looking for different things (anything from web chat to a relationship) which means it's always a lot of fun to use. This comes at a price however, and the site, in terms of expense ranks around the same as our top-rated adult dating site, Adult FriendFinder. For this reason, we would suggest you make use of the basic free membership and really test drive the site before you commit to a long subscription.
