Ashley Madison is quite unique in that it is the only dating site we've come across that's specifically designed for married men and women who are looking for the thrill of an extra-marital affair! This means that everyone on the site is looking for discrete sex, where secrecy is of paramount importance. So if you're married and looking for a bit of fun and excitement on the side, then AshleyMadison.com is a great place to start. For this reason, even though the site may not have the greatest number of members compared to some of the sites we've reviewed, many users report high success rates as all users are looking for the same thing, and there is more of a gender balance than on other sites. The site is also unique in its methods of premium payment. The site operates with a "credits" based system, which means there is no expiration of your membership - you are a premium member as long as your credits last. Realistically, you pay for just how much you use the site - if you instant message for an hour a day, though, your 1,000 credits ($249) won't last very long (only 20 days to be precise!). Mailing however is much more reasonable, at only $5 per user for essentially unlimited mail. Other useful features support this idea, such a the ability to leave feedback on members, so that other users can decide, based on these "reviews" whether to spend their hard-earned credits on a conversation; and also, the "panic button" where users can simply click one button to be instantly redirected to a very innocent looking site about home improvement!
